Used for condition names.

CONDITION name:

It is identified with special level ‘88’. A condition name specifies the value that a field can contain and used as abbreviation in condition checking.

Example:
01*****1 PIC X.
	88 MALE VALUE ‘1’
	88 FEMALE VALUE ‘2’ ‘3’.
IF*****1=1 can also be coded as IF MALE in Procedure division.
‘SET FEMALE TO TRUE ‘ moves value 2 to*****1. If multiple values are coded on VALUE clause, the first value will be moved when it is set to true.
