Performance wise which one is better in joiner and lookup transformation?why?explain clearly?

It depends on the table size we can't say that joiner will give better performance.

Reason :

In informatica,whenever we use joiner transformation it will implicitly sort data before performing the join operation where as in the lookup transformation it will be full table scan.

For the better performance , we should make use of not exists clause in the source qualifier instead of looking up the target.

Joiner is faster than lookup. Joiner will fetch the data only once form the database, but the lookup will fetch the data for each record from the database. So performance wise joiner is better than lookup.
