BRS: Business Requirement Specification
This document is called as high level document that includes all the requirement demanded by the client. Ideally, this document simply includes all the requirements that should be part of proposed system.

BRS

SRS

FRS

A formal document based on the requirement provided by client(written, verbal). Basically a macro level specification of the project.

It contains Project overview, tools and techniques
involved in it. Functional (modules and its functionality),
non functional, scope of the project and other are contained by it. There are
always versions of SRS, till the time it is approved by the
client.

It contains modules in depth, with the help of
wireframes, process flow, UML, screenshots or whatever it
needs to explain to client
