The Alias tables are more or less duplicates that we create for the tables in the database. It is the concept of creating references or links to the tables and all the properties of the original table like the columns, rows and other properties are inherited by the aliases. When we are performing complex querying operations over the tables in the databases, the alias tables come in handy- say, for example the inner joins. The design of the business model and the physical layers can be made simpler if we have the alias tables to reference a table multiple times.
