What is the difference between check point and output value?

A checkpoint verifies that expected information is displayed in your application while the test is running.

By using output value u can retrieve data from your application and output it to the Data Table. This data can
then be used at a later stage in the test. QuickTest displays the retrieved data, following the test run, in the
Runtime Data Table
