Heat map: A heat map is a great way to compare categories using color and size. In this, you can compare two different measures. Tree Map: It is a very powerful visualization, particularly for illustrating hierarchical (tree-structured) data and part-to-whole relationships.

Tableau 7.0 or later versions provide a wide range of appealing charts based on geocoding, geocode, geographic, country, country/region, region, state, zip, zip code, postal code, wms, location, province, prefecture, congress etc.

To change between different maps, click on geographic dimension which you have then click Geographic Role and select roles E.g. Zip Code
