# Tableau - We have total of 10 countries. How do we apply one color to 4 countries, another color to another 4 countries and some other color to the remaining 2 countries?

We have total of 10 countries. How do we apply one color to 4 countries, another color to another 4 countries and some other color to the remaining 2 countries?

for the above question By creating groups only we can change colors not with the sets

First, drag country field onto column shelf. Now, right Click on country field which is on the dimension list. Select create set on drop down list. Create set 1 with the 1st 4 countries Create set 2 with the 2nd 4 countries, Create set 3 with the last 2 countries. Select all the sets and drag and drop them onto the colors on the Mark card.

Create a groups on ur countries,means 1st 4 countries one group,and 2nd 4 countries anohter group,remaining 2 other group..., 2 Step:-Next drag country field into rows,&drag sales into columns.... 3 Step:-Now u can drag the countries group (which u have to create before) into color shelf..... then it will displays 3colors....

Create a group on your country column,it has 4 categories,after that place the group field in colors. Ex:Country: India,US,UK,SA,PAK,WI,BANG,NZ,SL,NL

COUNTRY_GROUP: GRP1(India,US,UK,SA),GRP2(PAK,WI,BANG,NZ),GRP3(SL,NL)
