Use below command to restore client data based upon the requirement :

dsmc restore "/user/project/*"-pick -inactive
dsmc restore /home/monnett/h1.doc /home/newdoc/h2.doc
dsmc restore /home/ -subdir=yes
dsmc restore -pitd=8/17/2002 -pitt=13:00:00 /home/mydir/
dsmc restore "/home/projecta/*.bak" /home/projectn/
dsmc restore -filelist=/home/dir2/restorelist.txt /home/NewRestoreLocation/

dsmc retreive "/project/archive/tivoli/*" "/cbt/restore/" -subdir=yes
dsmc retreive "/project/archive/tivoli/*/*" "/cbt/restore/" -subdir=yes

Running multiple sessions on clients for a restore::

You can control the number of mount points (equivalent to drives) allowed
to a client by setting the MAXNUMMP parameter on either the UPDATE NODE or
REGISTER NODE command.
Set the client option for resource utilization to one greater than the
number of sessions that you want. Use the number of drives that you want
that single client to use. The client option can be included in a client
option set.
